Straughn made the long trek to Bullock County in Union Springs, and came back with a win Friday night.

The Tigers beat the Hornets 40-12, allowing the home team to score six points each in the first and third quarters.

The Tigers scored 13 points in the first quarter, eight points in the second quarter, added 12 points in the third quarter and seven in the fourth in the win.

Straughn outscored the Hornets 21-6 in the first half, and 19-6 in the second half.

Straughn will travel to play rival Andalusia next week at Bulldogs Stadium.
