SHS falls at Headland

Headland’s boys dominated Straughn on Friday night with a 84-40 area victory at HHS.
The Tigers trailed 40-16 at half time, and only had one player finish in double figures.
Avery Driver led SHS with 11 points. Chase Short added six points and six rebounds.
Straughn falls to 6-11 overall, and 2-3 in Class 4A, Area 3.
The Rams shot 10 3-pointers in the win.
Straughn will play host to Brantley today, starting at 3 p.m. in regular season action.
In girls play, the Lady Tigers beat the Lady Rams 58-31, improving to 15-4 overall.
