Spring practices set

Andalusia, Red Level, Pleasant Home and Florala will begin their spring football practices in the coming weeks.
For the Bulldogs, practice will begin on May 7, and they will go Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for the first week; and then will continue the following week from May 14-18.
Andalusia will play Washington County at 6 p.m. at AHS on May 18, to culminate the team’s practice.
“We’ve got a lot of pieces to the puzzle to fill,” AHS coach Brian Seymore said. “We’ve got to find some guys to take that void away. I’ve got a lot of young kids that have been working really hard in the off season.
“This will be a good chance to see everybody on film,” he said.
In the spring game, the junior varsity squad will play the first quarter, and then the varsity squad will play the final three quarters. Admission is $6.
Red Level’s spring practice will begin on May 7.
The Tigers will practice for 10 days, and then play their spring game on May 17 against McKenzie at RLS.
Pleasant Home’s spring practice will begin on Mon., April 30, and the Eagles will train three days per week for three weeks.
Then, PHS will play Florala at home on May 17.
Florala’s spring practice will begin on Tues., May 1.
Straughn and Opp have already held spring practice.
