Rabren wins Edwin Watts tour event

Brooks Rabren of Andalusia won the 2012 Edwin Watts Summer Tour Championship at Scenic Hills Country Club in Pensacola, Fla., in a two-hole sudden death playoff this weekend.

Rabren was four strokes behind the leader carding a 5-over 76 on day one.

On day two, he carded the lowest round of the tournament with a 2-under par 69, leaving him tied for first with Bryce Geraghty of Gulf Breeze, Fla.

The two players were even on the first playoff hole.

Rabren birdied the second hole to take the win for both the 14-15 age division as well as the tournament championship for all players ages 14-18.

Rabren is a sophomore at Straughn High School.
