Red Level held a potent Highland Home offense to one touchdown in a 6-0 loss for its jamboree game Friday night.

The Tigers’ varsity players played the entire first half of play. The junior high bunch came in the second half and HHS outscored RLS 12-0.

“Our kids really played hard,” RLS head coach David Godwin said. “I’m extremely proud of our defense who played what is usually a very potent Highland Home offense.

“I was pleased with our effort,” he said.

Each team managed to score a TD in the game.

Godwin said the team as a whole, learned a lot about itself.

The Tigers host Choctaw County next week in their first game of the regular season.
