Habitat for Humanity could use some extra hands on site Saturday at their latest build on Airport Road.
HFH director Dale Pancake said workers will be on site from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. working to complete the fifth Habitat home in Covington County.
Pancake said volunteers with all skill levels are needed.
“We have a couple of small carpentry projects to finish, a bit more trim painting to do,” Pancake said. “Need to put in door knobs on the interior doors and hang them on their hinges, and sweep and clean up generally.”
Pancake said those interested in helping should also be aware of roadwork in the area. County crews are currently installing a culvert on Airport Road, resulting in road closures.
Pancake said it may be necessary to access the site by way of Oliver Taylor Road (Co. Rd. 73), north off of U.S. Hwy. 84, near Pop’s Place restaurant.
