Snyder’s 30 leads Saints

LBWCC’s Malcolm Snyder scored 30 points off the bench to help lead the Saints to a 97-65 victory over Jefferson Davis Thursday night.
This victory notched the Saints the top seed going into next week’s ACCC Region 22 Tournament at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville.
Snyder, who has been one of the few leading scorers for LBWCC this season, also had six assists, three rebounds and two steals.
Troyce Manasse chipped in 21 points and got five rebounds to pace the Saints.
Victor Benson of Andalusia also finished in double figures with 10 points. Janard Estell had nine.
LBWCC led 44-36 at halftime and went on to outscore JDCC 53-29 in the second half.
With the win, the Saints finish the regular season 16-10 overall, and 12-2 in the ACCC South.
Christian Jones led JDCC with 22 points. Chris Oden chipped in 11, and Anthony Bell had 10.
The ACCC region tournament is March 5-8.
