Community Christmas registration is Nov. 1

Andalusia Community Christmas will hold a one-day registration for those who need assistance with their children’s Christmas.
The registration will be held on Sat., Nov. 1, for children ages 2 to 10 years in Andalusia, Pleasant Home, Red Level and Straughn school communities.
Registration will take place at these schools from 9 a.m. until noon, and at Andalusia Elementary School from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Only parents or legal guardians are allowed to register their children.
Everyone must bring the following documents at the time of registration:
• A valid picture ID for the parent or guardian registering their child, i.e. Driver’s license, school ID, work ID, etc.
Birth certificate for each child.
Social Security card for each child or legal document with their social security number.
Proof of residence, i.e. current bill or rent receipt that shows your physical address. No post office addresses are accepted.
Proof of government assistance such as WIC, Medicaid, SSI, etc.
