Andalusia First Presbyterian Church recently held its Love Thy Neighbor 8K run/walk benefiting the Love Thy Neighbor Free Meal program.

 

There were 39 participants in total, of which 15 were runners.

 

Corey Bryan was the first place male finisher with a time of 37:05.

 

Sarah Anne Wilkes Erickson was the first place female finisher with a time of 37:52.

 

They both received a Nike backpack various other items inside.

 

“Many thanks to the community sponsors that helped make this event a success,” Lisa Locklier said. “We hope to do another event of this type in the future.”

 

The Love Thy Neighbor Free Meal program provides meals twice a month at the church for anyone who wishes to come.
