The Distinguished Young Women Program of Covington County is currently seeking young women throughout Covington County for participation in the 2016 scholarship competition.

The program is open to girls who are residents of Covington County and who will be high school seniors in the 2015-16 school year.

Approximately $10,000 is awarded locally in cash tuition scholarships, as well as college granted scholarships.

This year’s program will be held July 18 and the deadline to register is April 28.

An orientation event will be held April 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia for participants and a parent/guardian.
