Help send Bailey to Hawaii

Bailey Byrd’s dream is to travel to Hawaii, and her friends and family are working to make that happen.
To help her dream come true, a birthday bash will be held Saturday.
Byrd is battling juvenile granulosa cell tumor, which is a very rare form of ovarian cancer.
“We are hoping to make her dream to go to Hawaii come true, but we need your help,” mom, Pam said. “We need everyone to come out Saturday and purchase a barbecue plate, and we will have a birthday bash T-shirt for $15.”
The bash will feature kids’ bouncy houses, rock climb, obstacle course, photo booths, face painting, pony rides, a concert, games, movie, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and more.
Barbecue plate pick-up begins at noon.
Fun and games start at 5 p.m., with praise and worship at 5:30, birthday cake with Bailey at 6:30, more praise and worship at 7 and a movie under the stars at 8.
Bring a lawn chair and a blanket.
The event will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, which is located at 19632 Heath-River Falls Road.
Byrd posted yesterday that Bailey wasn’t feeling well and asked for prayers.
“We need good weather and we need Bailey to feel good,” she said. “So many are working so hard to make Saturday a great day for Bailey. I know we continue to ask for your prayers and support, and we thank you so much for always helping us. No child should have to suffer through cancer. No person should have two years taken away from them, but Bailey never complains and continues to put all her faith and trust in Jesus.
“Our family asks you to help with making Bailey’s dream come true,” she said. “No matter how big or how small the donation for her trip, it will all help.”
Those who can’t make the bash but would still like to help can donate by mailing a donation to Bailey Byrd, P.O. Box. 863, Andalusia, AL 36420 or by donating through gofundme.
