Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Mike Johnson said the bust is still under investigation and few details are being released to the specifics at this time.

“We picked them up at the Brantley Post Office on Thursday,” he said. “Sheriff Mickey Powell headed up the investigation, and we found more than 9 pounds of marijuana on them.”

It is estimated the marijuana is worth around $50,000.

However, Johnson said the arrests were a combined effort among the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Office, SBI narcotics investigators, United States Postal Inspectors, Brantley Police Department and the Oklahoma State Troopers.

Arrested were Tereek Bell of Dozier and Gary Bonner of Camden.
