Patrons going to the Andalusia Post Office are asked to use caution beginning Thursday when going to conduct business.

Denise Childers of the local branch said that starting Thursday, crews will begin redoing the parking lot.

“They will start in the front,” she said. “The whole front will be closed off. That part should re-open on Saturday.”

Childers said that beginning next week that they will repave the side parking lot.

“We recommend they use the back street,” she said. “Workers will be set up and will direct traffic.”

Estimated time for completion is by midweek, she said.

“We ask that you exercise caution and patience,” she said.
