Local students recently participated in the Troy University Honor Band .

Straughn band director Will Parker explained that students in grades 6th-8th grade send in applications for the Troy SEUS honor band clinic. After being selected to attend the honor band, the students audition for one of the three different bands. Students rehearsed on Friday and then put on a concert for everyone on Saturday morning.
