The LBWCC Lady Saints picked up a big conference victory with a 59-45 win over Bishop State Thursday at LBWCC.

At the end of the first period, the Lady Saints held an 18-15 lead.

The Lady Wildcats battled back in the second period and tied the game 28-28 heading into halftime.

ReAunna Caldwell and Brittany Ford came alive in the third period and pushed the Lady Saints to a 49-35 lead heading into the final period.

Both teams continued to battle, but the Lady Saints were able to hold on for a 59-45 victory.

Caldwell led the way for the Lady Saints with 18 points.

Ford finished the night with 16 points for the Lady Saints.
