The LBWCC Saints winning streak ended at nine games after the Saints topped Calhoun CC on Saturday morning, but fell to Lawson State that afternoon.

After getting a walk-off grand slam on Friday to top Calhoun, Saints’ Matt Christian came through with another walk-off hit on Saturday to take down Calhoun 5-4.

The Saints took the lead in the top of the second inning off a two-run single from Walker Messer.

LBWCC trailed 4-3 heading in the bottom of the seventh inning when a double from Trey McMillian drove in Austin Fain to tie the game.

Two batters later, Christian ripped a single to left field that allowed Harrison to score the winning run.

In the final game of the day the Saints fell behind early and lost 11-6 to Lawson State.

Christian drove in two runs on two hits for the Saints.

Chauncey Callier also drove in two runs on two hits for the Saints.

Lawson State limited the Saints to just one extra-base hit in the game.
