Saints keep rolling on

The LBWCC Saints picked up their fourth straight win on Friday afternoon when they defeated Andrew College 12-5 on Friday afternoon in Cuthberth, Ga.

After neither team scored in the opening frame, Saints’ Chauncey Callier led off the top of the second inning with a solo shot over the fence in left to give LBWCC as 1-0 lead.

Hunter Jacobs was hit by a pitch and moved around to third base on a single from Harrison Morris.

Jacobs then got a free pass home when the Andrew College pitcher was called for a balk.

A single from Ko Powell then put the Saints out front 3-0 heading in the bottom of the second inning.

The Saints added a pair of runs in the top of the fourth inning, including a run-scoring single from Micah McCaskill.

Morris and Powell drove in two runs each in the top of the fifth inning to give the Saints a 10-0 advantage.

Morris grabbed another RBI in the top of the ninth inning to help guide the Saints to a 12-5 victory.

Morris finished the game with four RBIs and Powell added three RBIs in the Saints’ victory.
