Ron DiCianni will keynote what promises to be an evening of inspiration when Sav-A-Life of Covington County holds its 26th annual banquet on Mon., Sept. 18.

In 2013, DiCianni was challenged to use his artistic calling and story to stand for life. From that came a painting called Before I Formed You in the Womb, which depicts the hand of Christ reaching out to touch an expectant mother. The message is simple, God creates each life, and does so for His purposes. What grew out of that single painting was the nation’s first visual, pro-life outreach called The Before I Formed You Foundation, aimed at helping the viewer see God’s plan for each unborn child.

Sav-A-Life is a non-profit Christian ministry helping women in crisis pregnancies and teaching life choices like abstinence to youth.

Tickets ($20) are available in Andalusia at Tabby D’s Christian Book & Gift Shop, in Opp at Opp Chamber of Commerce and Larry’s Prescriptions, and in Florala at Pharma-Care.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Kiwanis Community Center in Andalusia, located on the Hwy 55 South Bypass in Andalusia.
