Residents from the Andalusia area will have the opportunity to gather for the annual community Thanksgiving service on Tues., Nov. 21.
This year’s event is sponsored by the Greater Andalusia Ministerial Association, and will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church.
An offering will be taken for those in need by the Ministerial Association.
The guest speaker will be David McMillan-Vicar, the Pastor of St. Michael’s Anglican Church.
There will be a community choir, and anyone interested may participate in choir practice at 6 p.m. this Thurs., Nov. 17, at Christ the King Catholic Church at 6 p.m.
“This is a good opportunity for Christians to come together, worship, and provide witness to God. It’s good to bring the community together,” said Dr. Jason Thrower, pastor of First United Methodist Church,
Each year the association holds the service at a different host church on the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week.
The event will begin at 7 p.m.
