Lots to be thankful for, look forward to at Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is just a day away, and on Tuesday, The Star-News asked several adults and children about their favorite Thanksgiving activities.
Russell Craig of Andalusia really enjoys spending time with family.
“I’m thankful for my family, my job, and living in the land of the free,” Craig said.
Linsey Moon of Brantley loves her job, and eating dressing.
“I’m thankful for Rite Aid, my job, and I’m actually working on Thanksgiving,” Moon said.
“I really like hanging out with my family,” Judd Kelley of Andalusia said.
Kelley plans to eat turkey and dressing on Thanksgiving.
Gibson Craig of Andalusia is thankful to be safe.
“I’m thankful for our safety, and my family. I like to eat turkey and dumplings on thanksgiving,” Gibson said.
Emma Sightler of Andalusia is thankful for soccer and her family.
“Thanksgiving is for spending time with family, and soccer. I even got a trophy that looks like me,”
Sightler is going to eat turkey, chicken, and apple pie on Thanksgiving.
Rylee Wingard of Andalusia is thankful for Earth.
“I’m thankful for the Earth, my family, and my home,” Wingard said.
Wingard will spend her Thanksgiving with her family and she plans to eat salad as well as turkey.
Gray Reynolds of Andalusia is thankful for the Lord.
“I’m thankful for God, Jesus, and my mom and dad,” Reynolds said. His favorite Thanksgiving food is hamburgers.
Mia Levitske loves her family.
“I’m thankful for my house, and my family,” Levitske said.
Her thanksgiving will be spent eating turkey.
Nancy Philyaw of Andalusia loves her job.
“I’m thankful for Camp Sonshine, and my family,” Philyaw said.
Her favorite Thanksgiving food is her mother’s Italian Cream Cheese Cake.
Casie Bush of Andalusia loves her family.
“I’m thankful for my children, friends, and God’s love,” Bush said.
Her favorite Thanksgiving food is sweet potato casserole.
Gabby Worrels of Andalusia spends her thanksgiving with her family.
“I’m thankful for my family, my good health, and my job,” Worrels said.
Her favorite Thanksgiving food is pecan pie.
Family comes first to Bekah Harrelson.
“I’m thankful for my nephew, my friends, and my family,” Harrelson said.
Her favorite Thanksgiving food is cranberry salad with pecans.
