Meredith’s Miracles will open its Valentines Store next Thurs., Feb. 1. The store is located in the Prestwood Building on the square in Andalusia.

Meredith’s Miracles fundraiser coordinator, Kiley Spears, said the store will be open until Feb. 14.

“We don’t have a lot of new items but we do have a lot of the same items except with a twist,” she said.

This year expect to see traditional and speciality sundaes.

Some of the sundae varieties include white chocolate and milk chocolate Lindt truffles, peppermint, bubblegum, Reese’s cups, Hershey’s kisses and Tootsie rolls.

“We plan to sell out our sundaes. We’re making 200,” Spears said.

The store also features homemade items made by Mrs. Ellen Foreman, also known as Gigi.

Simply Gigi makes cookies, truffles and chocolate pretzel rods for the events.

“This year we’re looking forward to getting in the love pops in the push pop container,” Spears said.

The store will offer stuffed animals and other trinkets.

The store also offers an option to pick items to be wrapped in a gift basket as well as balloons and balloon bouquets.

“You can really just pick whatever you want from the store and we can build it into a basket,” Spears said.

The store will be open weekdays beginning on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Free delivery is available for orders $20 or more, but to Andalusia businesses and area schools. However, deliveries to school are only for teachers.

For sugar free orders, order 24 hours in advance.

Pre-order is not necessary for other items.

All call-ins can be paid over the phone.
