Little Lamb puts new spin on spring sale

Published 1:59 am Friday, February 9, 2018

The Little Lamb’s Consignment spring sale will have a new twist, and it could mean good things for anyone looking for a bargain.

Little Lambs is an organization that provides an opportunity to sell children’s used clothing, toys, books, shoes and furniture. The seller keeps 75 percent of anything sold, and 25 percent goes to Little Lambs to be donated to a local charity.

This year’s spring sale is set for Fri. and Sat., March 9 and 10.

To help sellers move merchandise, Little Lambs has added a half-price option for their second day of the semi-annual sale. This means all merchandise must be tagged with new tags indicating whether the item will be 50 percent off on Saturday morning if it isn’t sold on Friday night.

The half-price sale will only occur on Saturday.

The Little Lambs consignment sale is a sale that occurs twice a year, in the spring and in the fall.

Participants must pay a registration fee and commit to work a three-hour shift before, during or after the sale.

Sellers may shop in a preview sale at 5:30 p.m. on Fri., March 9. The sale opens to the public from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday, and from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday. Sellers must pick up unsold clothes Saturday afternoon.

Only spring and summer items will be accepted for this sale.
