Lady Saints storm past Bishop State
The LBWCC Lady Saints got big hits as they blew past Bishop State 9-1 on Thursday in Andalusia.
Alexis Wyatt retired the side in order with a ground out and two strikeouts in the top of the first inning.
Natalie Aplin doubled to start the bottom of the second inning and then came in to score on single from Betsy Powell.
Wyatt then came through with a single to score L Fox and Powell to give the Lady Saints a 3-0 lead.
Wyatt retired the side in order in the top of the third inning with a pair of strikeouts and a ground out.
Katy Cotton started the bottom of the third with a solo home run to put LBWCC up 4-0.
The Lady Saints continued to roll as they pulled away for a 9-1 victory.
