There’s a new business in Andalusia that caters to everything a homeowner could want or need.

Delta Design is a 10,000 square foot addition to Delta Lighting, and the two businesses go hand-in-hand in everything they do.

“Around two years ago, Casey Teel bought Delta Lighting. His vision was always to expand to design,” Jennifer Scherzinger, the designer and showroom manager, said.

“The idea is that the store will have everything a home needs, from the floor to the plumbing to the cabinets.”

Delta Design had its soft opening on Monday, and since then, Scherzinger said it’s been busy.

“We’ve had people from other states come and stop by just to check it out,” she said.

Delta Design’s job is to make it easier on people hoping to renovate homes or build, Scherzinger said.

“We’ve already started working with customers and contractors since then.”

Scherzinger said the main idea is to help a customer through the hard process of working on a home.

“Our job is to help people through the process of remodeling or building. We help them decide what they need and we receive bids from contractors and allow them to pick what’s best for them,” she said.

“We work with them on every detail of their build or remodel.”

Some of the things found on the Delta Design showroom are high-tech toilets that clean themselves, abstract light fixtures, cabinet sets, outdoor furniture and plumbing.

“We really offer it all here. We do landscaping, outdoor furniture, fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, Blue Haven pools.”

Scherzinger says they always make sure the customer is satisfied.

“I will work after hours on consultations with a customer and I will even go to the site of the home and plan out what’s best for the space,” she said.

“We just want what’s best for our customers and satisfaction in what we do for them.”

Delta Design is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The grand opening will be within the next two months.
