Lady Saints top Chatt Valley

The LBWCC Lady Saints picked up a big 12-5 win on the road against Chattahoochee Valley Community College on Wednesday.
Jessica Dickson reached to start the top of the first inning and then stole second.
Natalie Aplin then drove in Dickson with a double to left field.
Lindsey Fox followed with a single that scored Aplin.
After Alexis Wyatt reached off of an error, Katelynn Shiver blasted a three-run home run to put the Lady Saints up 5-0.
In the top of the fourth inning, Summer Simmons drove in a run to give LBWCC a 7-3 lead.
The Lady Saints continued to add to their lead in the top of the sixth inning.
Dickson reached first on a one-out single and then moved to second off of an error.
Katy Cotton then mashed a three-run home run to put the Lady Saints on top 10-3.
Ashley McKeown drove in Fox and Wyatt with in single to give LBWCC a 12-5 lead in the top of the seventh inning.
Shiver finished the game 1-for-4 with four RBIs and one run scored.
Cotton finished the game 1-for-3 with three RBIs and one runs scored.
Fox was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI.
Wyatt picked up the win in the pitcher’s circle for the Lady Eagles.
