An Andalusia man accidentally ran over an Elba woman in Opp Thursday afternoon.

Justin Charles Hancock, 35, was backing out of a parking spot in his 2001 Chevrolet Blazer in the Delta Plaza in Opp when he accidentally struck someone.

Hancock hadn’t seen Earnestine Kelley Morgan, 70, walking past the back of his vehicle.
Officers said Morgan was struck by the vehicle, knocked down and she hit her head on the pavement.

Morgan was transported to Mizell Memorial Hospital, and her condition is unknown.
