A chase on Wednesday morning left an Opp man with minor injuries.

“Deputies on Hwy. 84 E clocked a man on a motorcycle going to Andalusia at a high rate of speed,” Sheriff Dennis Meeks said.

“The chase lasted from Sanford to right in front of the Andalusia Ford.”

Meeks said in front of the Andalusia Ford is when Kody Andrew Phillips, age 20, lost control of his motorcycle.

Phillips was taken to Andalusia Health to be treated for his injuries.
