Baldwin and Kassidy Gunter scored multiple baskets to increase the lead before half time to 34-11.
The Lady Panthers were able to hold off Pleasant Home in the third period, only letting them score four points.
Gunter knocked down a shot and Baldwin and Abigail McDuffie both made a free throw to finish the third period.
Georgiana did not score much in the third period either, only six points.
The Lady Eagles powered through the fourth period to pull out the win.
Baldwin earned another triple double tonight with 24 points, 10 blocks and 15 rebounds. Bella Worley was the closest behind Baldwin with 10 points.
“Well first half I thought that we played extremely well,” Head coach Tony Wilson said. “We got kind of relaxed there in the second half and the third quarter kind of slowed us up a bit. We made some bad decisions and I thought that we could have played better than that, but overall I’m pleased with the win. Playing tough teams like that, really helps us down the stretch.”
With the win, the Lady Eagles improve to 15-3 overall and 7-0 in area play.
Pleasant Home plays McKenzie High School tonight for their homecoming.
