Former Andalusia basketball player and 2002 alumnus Brian Weeden is returning home to give back to the community and host a basketball camp at Red Level School this summer.
A high school skills camp will be held at RLS from June 25-27 from 9 a.m. until noon each day for rising ninth through 12th grades. Eighth graders may sign up upon request.
“The BeLegendary Player Development is a top tier training program designed for players who want to improve their skill set and player productivity as an athlete. This will help those players ‘be’ a complete player in every aspect of the game. Our focus is instructing players on every level from how to ‘be’ skilled, fundamentally sound, and maximize their development with high-quality training,” Weeden said.
There are only 40 slots available for registration with the cost per day at $25 or $50 for all three dates of the event. Payments must be made through CashApp at $BeLegendaryPD. Walk-ins will be welcome if there are spots still available.
“When paying, please add the athlete’s name on who will be attending in the notes.”
Through athletics, BeLegendary Player Development provides the following services:
- Player consulting, which consists of player evaluation and education on NCAA requirements with high school athletes
- Providing a player profile and skills training content for social media and recruiting services
- Providing a positive outlet for athletes to be legendary through athletics
All campers will need to register via Google form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd8wv_TgrtOJAUhmGjzyKy7ZzjmQ82fqiEjoNzn4uuIThFyBQ/viewform?usp=sf_link.
