In conjunction with the National Get Outdoors Day Celebration, a free youth fishing derby will be held today, Sat., June 12.

The event will begin at 7 a.m. and last until noon and will be held at the USDA Service Center on Highway 55.

Youth ages 3 to 15 are invited to attend.

The event is sponsored by the Conecuh National Forest, Andalusia Kiwanis Club, Covington County 4-H and the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries.
