Lockhart man pleads in child porn case

The Lockhart man arrested in September by the Alabama Bureau of Investigations for child porn has pleaded guilty.

Michael Holley was among the 14 defendants entering guilty pleas last month.

Holley pleaded to one count of possession of obscene matter and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Chief Assistant District Attorney Grace Jeter said Holley has applied for probation; however, she plans to argue against it.

“In Alabama, the way the law is written, it doesn’t matter how many images the person possesses, they are only charged with one count of possession,” she said. “I plan to argue strongly against Mr. Holley getting probation.”

Others entering pleas included:

• Marshall Arron Bragg Boyington, who pleaded guilty to unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance II, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

• Mary Everett, who pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was entered into drug court.

• John Everett, who pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was entered into drug court.

• Keri Lynn Gardner, who pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 32 months probation.

• Jimmie Leon Hardee Jr., who pleaded guilty to rape I and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

• Ricky Lee Harrison, who pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

• Jaime Daniels Jackson, who pleaded guilty to unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance I and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

• Jaime Elisabeth Jackson, who pleaded guilty to attempted possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to six years in prison.

• Jamie E. Mann Jackson, who pleaded guilty to burglary II and was sentenced to three years in prison.

• Amy Sims Lisenba, who pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to five years probation.

• Tonya Elaise Piland, who pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to six years in prison.

• Dianna Kay Rothgeb, who pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to three years probation.

• Donavan Blake Spenard, who pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to six years in prison.
