LBWCC led 35-31 early in the second half, but Snead State countered with a 14-2 run to eventually top the Lady Saints 63-55 at the Alabama Community College Conference women’s basketball tournament on Sunday at Wallace State-Hanceville.

Shauntal Byrd led LBWCC with 16 points. Amiria Blakely chipped in 12 points.

Snead State’s Diamond Elston led the Lady Parsons with 15 points. Terrian Smiley had 13 points and Bria Dupree had 11 points.

LBWCC finished its season 10-12 overall, and 8-4 in ACCC South.
