Andalusia’s Olivia Dixon struck out 11 in seven innings to help lead the Lady Bulldogs to a 5-2 win over Greenville Tuesday night.

“That was the difference,” AHS head softball coach Marcus Taylor said. “She (Dixon) was able to locate and keep the stuff down.”

With Tuesday’s victory, the Lady Bulldogs have won 10 games this season, and will play in a crucial area match up tonight against Ashford. The last time Andalusia played the Lady Yellow Jackets, the Lady Bulldogs lost 1-0.

Jessica Park and Megan Pugh scored on passed balls in the first inning; Andi Hughes scored on a sac fly by Kelsey Ramirez, and Park scored on another passed ball in the fourth inning; and Ramirez scored on a sac fly by Pugh in the sixth inning.
