The Florala Lady Wildcats finished runner-up in the Class 1A, Area 2 tournament Tuesday, and will play in their first South Regional Tournament in school history next week.

The Lady Wildcats lost to Kinston two times — who won the area tournament — and beat Geneva County two times.

Florala will play the winner of the Area 3 tournament, which will be played today starting at 9 a.m. at Pleasant Home.

Brantley and McKenzie will play the first game, and PHS will follow with the winner of the first game.
