2 airlifted from Opp wreck

Two victims were airlifted from the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Horn Hill Road and the Opp Bypass Thursday afternoon.

State Trooper spokesman Kevin Cook confirmed that it was a two-vehicle wreck with serious injuries.

Another victim was taken by ambulance to Mizell Memorial Hospital.

The wreck involved a Ford Edge and a Ford Ranger pickup truck.

According to reports, the SUV struck the truck.
