Manor celebrates silver anniversary

Mayor Earl Johnson presented a proclamation to members of the Sasser family Sunday during the celebration of Andalusia Manor’s 25th anniversary. Shown from left (above) are SalLee Sasser-Williams, Stallion Sasser, Johnson, and Sheila Sasser.

Below, Alice Williams carves turkey during the celebration. Entrees included bacon-wrapped shrimp; roast beef; crab cakes; Yukon gold lollipops; fried chicken and waffle bites with spicy maple sauce; tortellini skewers, fresh fruit, bread pudding and cake.

SalLee Sasser-Williams, who acted as emcee for the event, recognized a number of long-term employees, including: Debbie Stacks, 23 years; Barbara Peterson, 26 years; Sam Henderson, 29 years; Trece Mayes, 22 years; Sheila Aplin, 25 years; Teresa Mosley, 21 years; Ann Paterson, 25 years; Kenny Owens, 25 years; Michelle Daniels, 21 years; Pat Henegan, 25 years; Lynn Foreman, 23 years; and Julie Hayes, 24 years.
