Andalusia Regional Hospital recently conducted three internal promotions.

Jennifer Moseley has been selected to serve as ARH’s new materials manager. Jennifer replaces Amanda Wise who left ARH in February 2016. This selection is an internal promotion for Moseley from her present role as assistant director of information systems. She assumed her new role as of April 4, 2016.

Moseley joined the ARH Team in August 2008 as an IS tech and was promoted to assistant director of information systems in March of 2010 after earning her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Troy University. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ronnie, and kids, Brooke and Beau, and watching sports including the Florida State University Seminoles and Opp High School Bobcats.

“I look forward to beginning this new chapter in my career, and I’m thankful for the opportunity,” Moseley said.

Bobbie Meyer, MT (ASCP) has been promoted to senior director, support services.

Meyer joined ARH in October 2002 as a laboratory medical technologist, advanced to become director of laboratory, and was later appointed infection control director. In her new role as senior director, support services, Meyer will continue to manage ARH’s infection control services and in addition; will have administrative oversight for dietary and nutrition services, and will oversee leadership development and the medical office buildings on ARH’s campus.

“I am humbled -and grateful to those involved in making this decision,” Meyer said. “I am committed, and am very much looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities for growth that this position will afford me.”

Meyer earned her associate of science degree at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College and her bachelor’s degree at Troy University. She is currently pursuing an MBA in healthcare administration from at Western Governors University.

When not at work, Meyer practices CrossFIT as a certified instructor, enjoys deep sea fishing, and relaxing on the beach.

 

Patty Ashworth, who has served as ARH’s physician relations dire-ctor,has been promoted to senior director.

Earlier this year, Ashworth assumed responsibility for medical staff credentialing with direct oversight of Valarie McCalman, medical staff coordinator. In her expanded role, Ashworth will also serve as an on-site corporate health consultant (CHC) for the Wellness Works program ARH will be introducing this year. Through Wellness Works, ARH will work with business and industry to offer wellness, health promotion and occupational safety services.

Ashworth joined ARH on Oct. 5, 1992, as the public relations director.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.

When not at work, she enjoys photography, volunteering with the Children’s Advocacy Center, Meredith’s Miracles and the Community Garden.

According to John Yanes, CEO, the hospital is committed to developing the hospital’s internal leaders and recognizing those individuals that consistently demonstrate the skills and willingness to grow as leaders.

“Having worked with our leadership team for the past 12 months, I’ve had the opportunity to assess our leadership team’s skills and am very excited to promote certain team members into roles where they can further contribute to our hospital while growing professionally,” he said.
