Andalusia City Schools Superintendent Ted Watson said Tuesday the board of education could name a basketball coach as early as its Thursday meeting.

“The interview process is completed, or at least the first round,” Watson said. “Hopefully, we can get a good person in place, and our athletic program continue to gel.”

Coach Marshall Locke has served as interim head basketball coach at AHS since longtime coach Richard Robertson retired last summer.
