The Covington County Sheriff’s Department and the Drug Task Force is in the midst of pulling up a large field of marijuana plants found north of Florala of Hwy. 331 Monday afternoon. Here, Sheriff’ Dennis Meeks pulls one of 300 plants pulled up, and officers are still at work.

DTF agents were alerted to the area after Florala Police were tipped off by an informant who had knowledge of the grow site.
