AHS tops at Little Big Horn

Andalusia High School’s A Sound Tradition won best in class in all categories for Class 3A at Saturday’s Little Big Horn competition in Opp.

The band competed against Daleville, Robertsdale and T.R. Miller in Class 3A, and scored all superior ratings.

• Drum major best in class honors went to Daphne (4A); Andalusia (3A); Satsuma (2A); and Brantley (1A).

• Majorette best in class awards went to Andalusia (3A); Flomaton (2A); and Kinston (1A).

• Dance line best in class went to Elba (2A); and Kinston (1A).

• Colorguard best in class winners were Daphne (4A); Andalusia (3A); Straughn (2A); and Kinston (1A).

• Percussion best in class winners were Daphne (4A); Andalusia (3A); Satsuma (2A); and Washington County (1A).

• Band best in class awards went to Daphne (4A); Andalusia (3A); Satsuma (2A); and Washington County (1A).

• Kinston (1A) – drum major – 2, majorettes – 1, color guard – 1, dance line – 1, percussion – 1, band – 1, 1, 2 for an overall 1.

• Red Level (1A) – drum major – 1, majorettes – 2, color guard – 2, percussion – 1, band – 2, 2, 2 for an overall 2.

• Florala (1A) – drum major – 1, majorettes – 2, color guard – 2, percussion – 1, band – 1, 1, 1 for an overall 1.

• Brantley (1A) – drum major – 1, majorettes – 2, color guard – 2, percussion – 2, band – 2, 2, 2 for an overall 2.

• Straughn (2A) – drum major – 1, majorettes – 1, dance line – 1, color guard – 2, percussion – 2, band – 1, 1, 2 for an overall 1.
