Still not done? Merchants offer ideas to complete your holiday shopping list

For those who have forgotten to get that extra present for a loved one or maybe just love the rush of the last minute-gift finding, look no further.

There are several local businesses in Andalusia that offer a wide selection of goods for anyone on your shopping list.

“We have a good range of things to pick from,” Allen Walker from Walker’s said.

“But our best selling items have to be either our ornaments, our cheese straws, toffee or jalapeno jam.”

These gifts are ideal for Dirty Santa or a hostess gift, Walker said.

“We have a 40 percent off sale going on right now, and the day after Christmas we will be having another sale,” Walker said.

The store also has a wide variety of Christmas décor, furniture and office supplies to choose from.

At Ward and Co., there are plenty of gifts to choose from.

“We always sell a lot of Ray Bans or any of our designer watches. They make wonderful gifts and you really can’t go wrong with them,” Mike Ward, owner of Ward and Co. said.

“There is a wide variety of things to choose from- North Face jackets, Patagonia pullovers, designer T-shirts for men, purses, watches and sunglasses.”

In Oasis, the Lena Ellen Boutique boasts a large selection of women’s clothing.

“A good last minute gift would be a gift card from our store. It’s perfect because it can be used in the spa, salon and the store,” Daphne Hardage said.

The Utopia Salon Spa and Boutique is also another option for which to shop for women’s clothing.

“I recommend some of our Mixology roller ball perfumes or bath bombs. They make really good gifts because you can mix and match scents,” Nikki McNab, an esthetician at Utopia said.

Ending on Saturday, Utopia Salon is having sales each day for last minute shoppers.

At Christopher’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry, there are a lot of options from which to choose.

“A good gift would have to be anything stackable. Anything that can go with something else,” owner Donna Lawrence said.

“We sell tons of Ronaldo bracelets. They’re handmade here in the U.S. Each one has a different meaning, which I think is really unique.”

Sander’s Fine Jewelry offers a wide selection of jewelry.

“The best gift to give is diamonds or pearls. Diamond earrings are an easy go-to,” Donnie Sanders, the owner, said.

“We have starting prices of $19.99 and up. You really can’t go wrong with fine jewelry. We also offer financing.”

At Pink Peppers, there’s everything from maternity clothes to monogrammed cups.

“A great gift would be one of our rain jackets. They’re really cute, and everyone loves them. You can also get them monogrammed,” Nicole Northy, a sales associate said.

“Another good gift for Dirty Santa or any gift swap would be our Corksicle cups. We also sell a lot of chokers.”

Town and Country offers a wide variety of clothes, shoes and even makeup.

“I think a wonderful gift would be our Hobo purses. They’re really cute and can go with anything,” Janna King, sales associate said. “We have a lot of ponchos, capes and jewelry that would make wonderful gifts as well.”
