10 girls joining Hagan for lunch

Ten young women from Covington County will have the honor of joining Miss Mallory Hagan, Miss America 2013, for lunch on Saturday.

The women were selected based upon essays they submitted about why they would like to be Miss America.

Catherine Weed, Elizabeth Cravey, Merrill Ann Culverhouse, Taylor Carnley, Emmy E. Rabren, Shelby Meeks, Sadie Brown, River Baldwin, Cassidy Godwin and Michaelyn Russell will each join Miss Hagan for lunch this Saturday at the home of Jennifer Scherzinger.

Hagan also will appear at the Covington County Imagination Library’s second annual Little Black Dress event set for this Sat., March 15, at the Andalusia Country Club. Tickets are $100 each, and are limited.
