Straughn’s Brice Scott scored 34 points to help lead the Tigers to a 65-51 victory over Red Level earlier tonight.
The game was tied 39-39 at the end of the third quarter.
Brennan Maddox added 12 points in the win for SHS. Rollin Kinsaul added nine points.
Red Level’s Spencer Stallworth scored 14 points; Jeffrey Purdue and Ontaryo Nearor had 10 points each; and William Crawford had nine points.
SHS improves to 6-1 overall on the season.
In B-team action, Straughn won 52-28.
Taylor Cosby led SHS with 10 points.
Twelve of Straughn’s 15 Lady Tigers scored in their 66-23 victory.
Jacie Williamson led SHS with 17 points.
The third-ranked Lady Tigers improve to 9-1 overall.
Straughn hosts Georgiana tomorrow night.
