3. Dance on over to LBW

The Andalusia Ballet will present its Spring Showcase at 2:30 p.m. today, Sat., May 14, in the Dixon Center at LBWCC. As an added bonus, local photographers Vicki Popwell and Robert Evers have a photography show in the lobby of the auditorium featuring senior dancers from the Andalusia Ballet.

4. Your turn to deliver to the mailman

Today is the National Association of Letter Carriers’ “Stamp Out Hunger” event.

Residents are encouraged to place canned food in the paper bags provided by mail carriers this week. Leave the bags near your mailbox and they’ll be collected today.

5. If not blues, then bluegrass

Shades Mountain Air will perform tonight at 7 at the Opp Cultural Arts Center’s Lighterd Knott Landin’. Tickets are $15.
