Three Covington County softball teams are still alive in the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s South Regional Tournament being held at the Gulf Shores Complex this weekend.
Pleasant Home – defeated Fruitdale and Florala, and plays Kinston at 8 a.m. today.
Florala – fell to Pleasant Home, but came back to shut out Georgiana to stay alive in the tournament. They play Sweet Water at 8 a.m. today.
Straughn – defeated Jackson and UMS Wright, and will play at 9:30 a.m. today.
