McKenzie School senior quarterback Sir Wallace Presley threw for three touchdowns and freshman running back Ty Adams ran for two scores in a 30-6 win against Red Level High School Friday night in McKenzie.

“Our guys played really well tonight,” McKenzie head coach Miles Brown said.

On the first play from scrimmage, Presley tossed a 42-yard touchdown pass to junior Matt Lewis.

Presley later added touchdown passes of 47 yards and 3 yards, both to sophomore Nicarius Peterson.

“We got off to a pretty quick start,” Brown said.

The Tigers, who staked claim to an 18-0 halftime lead, put the game away in the second half when Adams scored on runs of 12 and 8 yards.

“Our offensive line did a tremendous job in the second half,” Brown said. “They gave a great effort. The whole team did. This was a great team win. Every single kid contributed to this win and I’m just proud of the way they played.”

Senior linebackers Octavious Mobley and Tadarius Gill each recorded 17 tackles to pace the Tiger defense.

Senior defensive end Caneilyus Presley totaled six tackles, including two sacks.
