Pleasant Home’s varsity girls defeated J.U. Blacksher 49-21 on Tuesday night to capture its first win of the season.

The Lady Eagles outscored the Lady Bulldogs 15-7 in the first period, and 12-5 in the second period to lead 27-12 at half time.

PHS led 41-12 going into the fourth period.

Raven Woods led the Lady Eagles with 14 points; Ashley Williamson had nine points; and Taylor Godwin chipped in eight points.

The Lady Eagles improve to 1-2 on the season, and will play host to J.U. Blacksher on Tuesday.
