The Pleasant Home girls dominated Excel Friday night, defeating the Lady Panthers 64-12.

The Lady Eagles held EHS scoreless in the first period, with a score of 17-0.

Excel got on the board in the second period, only putting up 6 points to Pleasant Home’s 22,

Pleasant Home scored 10 in the third, while the Lady Panthers put 6 more on the board.

Taylor Godwin and Raven Woods led the Lady Eagles with 12 points each; and Ashley Williamson and Emily Byrd had 10 points each.

In boys’ action, Pleasant Home beat the Panthers 50-39.

The Lady Eagles improve to 3-2 this season, and will play next in the Alabama-Florida Shootout from Dec. 30-31.
