Pleasant Home fell to Samson 10-3 on Friday night in the first game of the Tigers’ tournament in Samson.

The game was tied 3-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning.

The Eagles had bases loaded in the top of the fifth with no outs and were only able to get one run across.

“We have to finish games,” PHS coach Cody McCain said.

Hunter Odom led the Eagles and went 2-for-3.

Additionally, McCain said Hunter Weaver made some “unbelievable” plays in the outfield at center.

Pleasant Home will face Paxton today at 12:30 p.m. to resume play in the Samson tournament.
