Eagles edge Laurel Hill, 7-5

Pleasant Home edged Laurel Hill 7-5 on Thursday night in regular season action at PHS.

The Eagles led 5-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Hunter Weaver hit a solo home run.

With the bases loaded, Laurel Hill’s Boomer Ellison hit a grand slam to tie it back up 5-all.

Pleasant Home added two runs in the sixth inning after Corey Self’s two stolen bases, and an RBI by Kaleb Powell.

The Eagles will be back in action on Tuesday on the road at Brantley in an area contest.

First pitch is slated for 4:30 p.m.
